Pranayama is an important part of yoga. It is made up of two Sanskrit words – Prana and Yama. Meditation is a system of breathing. The three Stooges. There are three stages of the Pranayama cycle:
Stomach, or Breathing
Kumbhaka, or Retention
Exhalation, or Exhalation
The most common is that it should be done only on an empty stomach.

The ideal time to do Pranayama is in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not eat before exercising. This can reduce the effectiveness of your workout. You don’t always need to do it early in the morning. If you choose to do it during the day, take a break of at least 3 to 4 hours after meals.
Rules For Doing Pranayam
Pranayama is beneficial for calming the mind and increasing concentration. If you are dedicating time to doing this important form of exercise then here are some methods you need to follow.
- sit in a clean and quiet place
- Keep your mind calm and sit in the right position.
- Experiment with different types of pranayam to see which one works best for you.
- Pranayama is not just about inhaling and exhaling. Try to control your breathing while doing this.
- Do not do pranayama in haste. Stay calm and take your time.
